Uche Sparks Comfortable Crystal Palace Victory at Shelbourne.
Despite entering their maiden European adventure, Crystal Palace are adapting very quickly. Without star figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a comfortable win that all but secures them a spot in the Conference League playoffs.
Another three points in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS ought to be sufficient to seal direct passage to the last 16, particularly following a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Moment
This match provided a platform for some of Palace's lesser-used talent to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second beginning after arriving on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a clinical goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a another, scoring for the second consecutive succession.

The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also blazed a glaring chance, indicating there is still room for development in his game.
A solitary concern for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise positive evening for the traveling side.
